Zoo's aren't just for families with kids, they're for everyone, every day of the week. Besides normal day-to-day zoo activities, you may not be aware of all of the events that happen throughout the year at our very own Seneca Park Zoo. Whether you’ve been lately or not, you won’t want to miss the last ZooBrew of the year on Friday, September 6th from 5:30-9pm.
What is ZooBrew?
ZooBrew is Seneca Park Zoo’s 21 and over, after hours event series that happens May-September every year. Each event includes admission to the Zoo, live music from 3 bands throughout the Zoo, and different animal experiences. There is also beer, wine, and food available for purchase.
Not only is this a fun event, but a portion of every ticket is donated to long-time conservation partner International Elephant Foundation for its programs in Africa to help save African elephants. By attending, you can help the Zoo reach their 2019 goal of raising $11,750 for the foundation!
Looking to Support Further?
If a unique experience and a chance to support the International Elephant Foundation even more sounds interesting, for a $25 donation, you can take a tour of the Elephant Barn. Led by a zoo keeper, this behind-the-scenes experience gives you a unique perspective of what it takes to care for the Zoo’s four female African elephants, Genny C, Lilac, Moki and Chana.
